So, you know how I was getting into affiliate marketing?
Well, I kinda let it go and I feel bad about that.
I read this post from Kirsty, a super affiliate (see definition here) here in the UK and it was inspiring. I know I wont make thousands a month from affiliate marketing, but with a little effort, I can make a few hundred which will help to pay off my credit cards while Im earning Ozzie dollars for the next year.
I know with Futurepulse I will be able to generate some sales. This blog already has 1200 hits in the last 3 months and its just my personal journal. I know its because I add tags to it and update it frequently and link from and to it all over the web which are good ways to gain traffic.
Currently Im running it on here, Blogger because I can add Adsense and third party stuff with ease and without downloading it like you have to with Wordpress. Im looking into using Squarespace too, but Im going to look up reviews on that.
See, my problem is I am still setting my goals too high. I wanted to be the best place to find news about future trends in design, technology and shopping and earn thousands per month doing it and then I got discouraged. But I have to remind myself to just to the best I can and be happy with the results. There is space for everyone.
Ooh, I feel all zen now! haha!
I have a lot of information that I can build good content with on Futurepulse if I just apply myself, another one of my downfalls, I can generate traffic and then Adsense and affiliate marketing revenue! I often think I should make money off having ideas and selling them to people who will actually implement them. You buy my idea and give me a 20% commission on the revenue from your implementing it. Talk about getting paid for sitting on your ass! haha!
Ive spent the past two days on the internet, if I put half that time into running an AM blog I am bound to see some earnings!
