New Layout & Mac love

Well, I hope ya'll like the new layout courtesy of Pyzam.com. I hate the fact that Blogger make no effort to make new, updated and better looking layouts available to their users so I went and found someone who does!

Unfortunately, my knowledge of HTML is too limited for me to figure out how to migrate my widgets in the sidebar into the new layout code so I had to start them all over from scratch, which means Im gonna stick with this layout cos its quite a job! I spent about 20mins going thru the code trying to copy and paste the widget code into the new layout code but I was obviously not getting something right. What I know about HTML coding is self taught.

I also installed a MyFlashLayout.com code into my Myspace so now it looks really professional and pretty. I took the Pyzam.com code out of this blog too because it was putting a big orange advertising stripe across the top which was unsightly and their logo is already at the feet of the girl in the background!

This also means that I am on the hunt for a foxy new layout for Futurepulse.net.

I like that my knowledge of HTML let me find and change the font and link codes so that this blog appears in Verdana and the links are underlined. I also tweeked the widths of the two columns so that the YouTube vids could fit in and the sidebar wasnt pushed to the bottom.

All my computer knowledge is self taught, I told you, I spend a lot of time on the internet!
The problem is, everyone at work asks me how to do stuff on their computers and I dont always have the answers. Like when our Laundrette guy came in asking me how to secure his new Windows laptop on his wireless network. Sorry dude, my previous job was not with AOL's wireless team! He seemed confused I didnt have the answer. I use a Mac now and everything is built in and pretty much done for you. I use a Mac now because its highly frustrating and confusing to try and figure out how to use Windows. I will never, never, never, never, never use a Windows again. How anyone uses them I dont know. My mom's takes 10mins to get ready for use when you switch it on and then nothing works and you cant find anything. What a waste of time.
